VT. ABBOTT SCHOLARSHIPS 2011
TAKING OUR YOUTH TO GREATER PLACES

|
Named for Leon M. Abbott, Sovereign Grand Commander from 1921 to 1932, the Scholarship Program provides financial support for the continuing education of young men and women from Scottish Rite families and Masonic-related youth groups. Since 1951, more than $3 million has been awarded to students from each State of the Northern Jurisdiction. This year the contribution provided by the Supreme Council through the Abbott Scholarship program is being combined with funds from each of our Valleys through the VT Council of Deliberation to extend these scholarship opportunities to as many children or grandchildren of our own Vermont members as possible. Donations to this worthy cause can be made to either of the members listed below with checks made out to the VT Council of Deliberation.
Eligibility: The following criteria are used to determine the eligibility of applicants for the program:
The form for application is found on the Supreme Council's website: http://www.scottishritenmj.org/Portals/1/images/Forms/AbbottScholarship2011.pdf
The applicant must personally complete this application. The application and all supporting documents must be submitted in duplicate by April 1st. Applications received by the Council of Deliberation’s committee after that date will not be considered.
